After the book was rebound, the sheets were numbered at various times about 80 years later with both stamped and handwritten numbers. These numbers tend to perpetuate the out of order presentation of this enumeration, and when filmed the jumbled order was maintained. In this transcription the pages have been painstakingly restored to their original order. The original sheet numbers are included. (This explanatory note Copyright 2004 by Maggie Stewart. The transcription order used in these files Copyright Earnie Breeding 2004.) ___________________________________________________________________________ NOTE: For more information on Montgomery County, Alabama, Please visit the Montgomery County ALGenWeb site at http://www.rootsweb.com/~almontgo/ ___________________________________________________________________________ This work follows all guidelines of the USGW Census Project, http://www.usgwcensus.org/. ____________________________________________________________________________ KEY TO ABBREVIATIONS: LN=Line Number HN=House Number FN=Family Number MRD=Married within last year SCH=Attended school within last year R/W=Adults who cannot read and write DDB=Whether deaf, dumb, blind, insane, idiotic, pauper, or convict ____________________________________________________________________________ This is the 1850 Federal Census for Montgomery County, Alabama ____________________________________________________________________________ --- Year: 1850 State: AL County: Montgomery Sheet No: W3-14 Reel No: M432-12 Division: Ward No. 3 Montgomery Page No: 145A Enumerated on: 14th of December, 1850 by: T.
