Enumerator brought page totals forward on each page (both A and B). These are entered as line 1a on each transcribed sheet, with remark "prev page totals". 2. Page 55B: 1 blind colored carried forward from 54B, 1 recorded on line 24, tally not update, shows total of 1 blind colored rather than 2. Incorrect total transcribed. 3. Page 66A: enumerator Joseph Sierra considered the census complete with this page, and the following was entered: "The number of persons within my Division Consisting of two thousand five hundred and eighteen appears in the foregoing Schedule subscribed by me this nineth day of October in the year one thousand eight hundred and thirty. Joseph Sierra Assistant to the Marshal of the Western District of Florida" Below this entry is written: "We hereby Certify that a Correct Copy of the above Schedule Signed by the Said Joseph Sierra assistant to the Marshal has been set up at two of the most Public places within the Division, open to the inspection of all Concerned. Peter Alba, Mayor Saml. Fry, Clerk Escambia Co." There are two more pages in the census, enumerated by E. E. Simpson, pages 68 and 69. 4. Page 67 is not a census form but is a separator page between the work of Joseph Sierra and E. E. Simpson. 5. E. E. Simpson did not keep running totals at the top of each sheet, and recorded 28 individuals per page, totaling the page on line 29. 6. Page 69A: total for column Females 40-50 calculates to 6; original document shows 7 in the total line, but 6 written below it. 7. No totals record for this additional group of Escambia County residents; also, they are included on the first page for Walton County by the enumerator. I totaled up the additional residents and recorded the total on the page 70A and 70B.
