Transcriber's Notes on the 1910 Federal Census for part of microfilm #T624-629 Town of Leominster, Worcester Co. (ED #1769) MA. General: Since there are no handwritten page numbers on this census, I have included the sheet number in the first remarks field for each page. The sheet numbers are generally sequential within an enumeration district and/or by enumerator and consist of an 'A' and a 'B' side similar to page numbers. Unlike the page numbers which do not repeat for a given volume, the sheet numbers start over with each new enumeration district and/or enumerator. If a person was married, not only did column 8 have an 'M' but also included the number of the marriage for that person (i.e., M1 or M2 etc. for 1st or 2nd marriage respectively). In columns 12,13, and 14 not only was the birthplace recorded but in MOST foreign born cases the native language was also listed. The letters 'Un' or 'Unk' appear in numerous columns and means the information expected was unknown. The number of the notes below can be found in the remarks column of the transcribed census. Notes: 1) House # listed is crossed out on source. 2) Dwelling # (Col. 1) listed is crossed out on source. 3) Family # (Col. 2) listed is crossed out on source. 4) Sheet 24B (page 24a) is placed before Sheet 24a (page 24b). Also, page 24a has the term "Supplemental Sheet" written on the line for 'Name of Institution'.
