General: This enumeration district, #1770, covers pages 25A to 74B.

Since there are no handwritten page numbers on this census, I have included 
the sheet number in the first remarks field for each page. The sheet numbers 
are generally sequential within an enumeration district and/or by enumerator 
and consist of an 'A' and a 'B' side similar to page numbers. Unlike the page 
numbers which do not repeat for a given volume, the sheet numbers start over 
with each new enumeration district and/or enumerator.

If a person was found in the 1910 city directory and their last or first name 
is spelled differently than on the census, a note was made in the remarks column.  
Please be aware that not everyone was listed in the directory (not even every 
family was listed).

Page 30b line 78 starts dwelling # renumbering (original numbers crossed out and 
new ones written in) and continue through to end of district (with a few exceptions).  
The 'new' numbers are the ones which I have transcribed here.

ones written in) and continues through to end of district (with few exceptions).

If a person was married, not only did column 8 have an 'M' but also included the number 
of the marriage for that person (i.e., M1 or M2 etc. for 1st or 2nd marriage respectively).

In columns 12,13, and 14 not only was the birthplace recorded but in MOST foreign born 
cases the native language is also listed and, for this transcription, are shown in 
parenthesis which were NOT part of the original source.  Due to space limitations it 
was also necessary to sometimes abbreviate the native language in this transcription 
(i.e., Ireland English becomes Ireland (Eng)). 

The letters 'Un' or 'Unk' may appear in some columns and means the information expected 
was unknown to the enumerator.

Very poor quality microfilm for this enumeration district. Most of columns 18 - 32 are 
especially difficult or impossible to read. Those columns that are illegible are denoted 
by an asterisk, '*'.  Luckily, the names, relationships, ages, nativities, and immigration 
dates are much more legible (with a few exceptions).

On most pages beyond page 33b it is extremely difficult to make out any information in 
columns beyond column 16. 

Each page starting with page 66a and continuing to page 74a has the words 'Supplementary 
Sheet' written in the upper right hand corner.

Page 69a has lines 51 - 100 instead of 1 - 50 because the enumerator marked what should 
have been Sheet 45B as Sheet 45A.

Page 69b has lines 1 - 50 instead of 51 - 100 because the enumerator marked what should 
have been Sheet 45A as 45B.

Page 74b (all lines) are blank. It is the last page for enumeration district #1770.
