This is the 1900 federal census for Gonzales County, Texas

1.  Entries enclosed with brackets [   ] indicates that the entry was 
          marked through.
2.  The Marriage License Index I mention in the Transcriber Remarks, is 
          a manuscript titled 'Gonzales County, Texas Marriage Licenses 
          Issued 1829 - 1900', copyrighted in 1993 by Marjorie Lee Burnett.  
          I have her permission.
3.  This Enumerator's spelling is sometimes very bad, especially Spanish names.  
          I have transcribed his recordings as he spelled it.
4.  All spelling of Birthplaces are as recorded in census.
5.  All spelling of Occupations are as recorded in census.
6.  All spelling of Relationships are as recorded in census
7.  During the tallying of the Census, marks were made over the first name and 
          relationship of the heads of households.
8.  Enumerator spells Alabama as Alabamma.
9.  Enumerator sometimes uses stepfather's last name when recording stepchildren's 
          last name.
10. Enumerator uses the stepparent's birthplaces when recording parent's birthplaces 
          of a child.
11. Enumerator sometimes spells Mississippi as Missippi.
12. Enumerator spells Virginia as Virginnia or Virginnie.
13. Enumerator had a bad habit of not crossing his T.
14. Enumerator sometimes spells Maine as Mane.
15. People that were married less than 1 year was somethimes originally written as a 
          fraction, but was later overwritten with a 0.
16. Enumerator spells Arkansas as Arkansaw.
17. Enumerator's lower case a and o are hard to distinguish.
18. Enumerator spells Farm as Form.
