USGenWeb Free Census Project Completion Instructions, Using Email Attachments for Outlook Express
Hopefully, if you have this program, you have been using it for a while.
Step 1. Open a "New Message" by clicking on Compose New Message.
Step 2. Type your message. Tell your State Census Coordinator that you are done and all that good stuff.
Step 3. You are now ready to attach your file. In Outlook Express, there is an icon with a paper clip on it for attachments that you need to click.


Step 4. Next is to find your file. When you click on the Attachment function, you will get a dialog box with your files displayed in it. From there, you find your file. Once you have located your file on your disk, you highlight the file by clicking on the file.
Step 5. From this screen, with your file highlighted, click the "Attach" button. (This "attaches" your file to your email!) You will see below the "cc:" and "bc:" a line showing that the file is now "Attached".

Step 6. And now, all you have to do is click on the "Send" button and that's it!
