Finding a Second Transcriber (proofreader) for your transcription!
  1. Try to find someone in your area.
  2. Ask the USGWARCH-CEN-L list for someone to trade second transcription (proofreading) with you.
  3. Check the Second Transcribers (Proofreader) Page for someone to proofread for you. You may want to fill out the form (coming soon) to add your name to those looking for proofreaders.
  4. If you can't find a second transcriber (proofreader), you may submit your finished transcription, and we will upload it to the USGenWeb Census Project Archives, while still seeking a second transcriber (proofreader).
