What is involved in being a second transcriber?

  • PLEASE NOTE: This list is *not* for lookup requests. If you joined USGWARCH-CART in hopes of obtaining census data, this *is not* the place. Sending a lookup request to the list is just cause for being unsubscribed and banned from the list. If census data is available, it can be found in the USGenWeb Archives. There is a Census Inventory Table of Contents available as well. There is *no* facility for lookup requests in the census project.
  • To subscribe, send a message to USGWARCH-CART with a one word message: subscribe. If you have a signature, you must turn it off when sending mail to the -request address, as they tend to confuse Smartlist.
  • To unsubscribe, send a message to USGWARCH-CART with a one word message: unsubscribe. If you have a signature, you must turn it off when sending mail to the -request address, as they tend to confuse Smartlist.
  • To post to the list, include as much information as possible about your question or problem and send it to USGWARCH-CART You may use a signature when posting to the list, but please try to keep them less than ten lines.
