In 1900 the state of Washington was divided for enumeration purposes by the Census Bureau into two Supervisory Districts. SD 1 consisted of all counties west of the Cascade Mountains, SD 2 of all counties east of the Cascade Mountains. The counties contained in each district are listed below.
